Genesis 2:16-17

Adam and Eve were placed in The Garden of Eden.

Adam and Eve were created as free moral agents.

Adam and Eve were not puppets or robots or cyborgs.

Adam and Eve were created as free moral agents with the power of choice.

"... 16 And The Lord GOD commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

Human beings are free moral agents. Free Moral Agents have The Power of Choice.

Human beings have a GOD Given Moral Conscience.

As human beings we can Obey GOD and be Blessed or disobey GOD and be judged.

Adam disobeyed GOD.

"... For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous...". ( see Romans 5:9).

With GOD , one day is as a Thousand years and a thousand years is as one day.

Adam died before he reached a 1000 years.

In 2 Peter 3:8 we read :

"...But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with The Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day..." .

After Adam sinned against GOD by disobeying The Word of GOD, Adam failed to live a thousand years. Adam , The Bible says , died when he was  930 years old.

In Genesis 5:5 we read :

"... And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died...".
