It was a natural thing for humans to populate the earth.
However, as the population increased, so did social problems including violence.
Humans with out GOD behave worse than animals. Humans without GOD can be selfish and cruel barbaric murderers with no compassion for one another.
Now, we have no intention of giving a Lesson on Social Science and Human Behaviour.
We will leave that to the experts of social science and human behaviour.
However, it is good to note that in the days of Noah, the rate of population growth increased exponentially.
"...And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That The Sons of GOD saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And The Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when The Sons of GOD came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented The Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And The Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of The Lord.".
As the population growth increased, so did wickedness and crime and violence.
In today's modern world , we see that there is a population explosion.
We are aware that several different governments are engaging in various population reduction exercises in an effort to reduce rapid population growth.
In several countries, The Government sponsors Abortion Programmes.
Abortion is the pre-meditated cold blooded barbaric murder of innocent unborn children in the safety of the womb of the mother.
The trial of a so called Dr. Gosnell shocked the world when pictures emerged of fully developed babies that were aborted in Dr.Gosnell's "House of Horrors " that was a baby slaughter house.
In The Gosnell trial, testimonies were heard of the cruel barbaric killing of aborted babies that were born alive.
We read in Genesis 6:1-9 , we see that there was a break down of morals and people began to engage in pre-marital sex, fornication and adultery.
People transgressed The Word of GOD and departed from the ways of The Lord. People began to do what was right in their own eyes.
Today we see that there is a population increased.
In this modern age , we see that there is a break down of morals and that people engage in pre-marital sex, fornication and adultery.
We also see that before and after the flood, that there were giants in the earth before and after the flood of Noah.
In Genesis 6:4 we read :
"..There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when The Sons of GOD came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."
