Before The Fall in Eden, Adam and Eve were clothed with Celestial Glory. They walked in the Light of GOD. They walked by faith and not by sight.
Adam and Eve were alright as long as they stayed in The Word of GOD.
By The Grace of GOD, The True Believers are alright provided we abide in His Presence, Obeying His Word, Trusting in His Grace and Mercy.
When Adam and Eve strayed away from The Word of GOD they strayed away from The Way of Righteousness.
Proverbs 13:15 says :
"... Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard...".
In John 15:5, Yeshua Ha-Mashiach The Lord Jesus Christ said :
"... I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing...".
Without GOD we are nothing.
Without GOD we can do nothing.
In Phillipians 4:13, The Apostle Paul said :
"...I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me...".
In The Garden of Eden, The Grace of GOD Provided all things for Adam and Eve.
However, we see that when Eve stopped to have a conversation with satan, satan brainwashed Eve and misquoted The Word of GOD to Eve and planted the seed of doubt and unbelief in the mind of Eve.
Satan working through the serpent corrupted the mind of Eve and made Eve doubt The Word of GOD and transgress The Law of GOD.
In James 1:12- 16 we read :
"... 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren....".
In Genesis 3:1-5 ,Satan through the serpent tempted Eve.
Eve listened to the devil.
Eve allowed the devil to pollute and corrupt her mind with doubt and unbelief.
The faith of Eve was corrupted by the serpent beast.
The spiritual womb of Eve's mind was defiled with the doctrines of the devil.
Notice how satan working through the serpent suggested to Eve that she would be "...as god.." suggesting that she would be enlightened , that she would become "...An enlightened one, with her eyes opened to know good and evil, and be as " a god".
Isn't that The Mystery of Iniquity where human beings desire to be like GOD and want to "a god" ?
Don't you see that doctrine of devils working in the world today where you have people that think that they can do what they want and they think that nobody can tell them anything and they think that they have the right to do this and the right to do that and do what is right in their own eyes ?
What did the serpent say to Eve in Genesis 3:5 ?
In Genesis 3:1-5 we read.
"... Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LordGod had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath GOD said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden ?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, GOD hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For GOD doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil....".
Notice this was after The Six Days of Creation.
Notice that as soon as Adam and Eve were placed in The Garden of Eden, there was a tree of knowledge of good and evil already in the garden. ( See Genesis 2:17).
Between The Beginning when heaven and earth were created in Genesis 1:1 and The Six Days of Creation detailed in Genesis 1:2-31, we see that The Angels of GOD were already created by GOD for in Job 38:1-7 we read that The Sons of GOD shouted for joy when the foundations of the earth were laid.
Satan led a rebellion against GOD.
Satan deceived one third of the angels to rebel against GOD.
There was war in heaven. ( See Revelation 12:7-9 a.r.w. Daniel 12:1-4; etc )
Satan fell like lightening out of heaven. ( Luke 10:18).
Satan who was perfect until iniquity was found in his heart ( Ezekiel 28:13-19 a.r.w. Isaiah 14: 12-19 a.r.w. Luke 10:18 a.r.w. Revelation 12:7-9 etc ) desired to be like GOD was cast out of heaven.
In Genesis Chapter 3 we see that satan, the author of confusion working through the beast serpent ( the serpent beast ) to defile the human blood stream.
In The Garden of Eden, satan knew that the first human beings ( Adam and Eve) were created in The Image of GOD. ( see Genesis 1:26 -27).
In The Garden of Eden, satan knew that the human body was The Temple of GOD. ( See 1 Corinthians 6:19).
"... What ? know ye not that your body is The Temple of The Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of GOD, and ye are not your own ?..". ( 1 Corinthians 6:19 ).
The Prophet Isaiah said this about satan:
"... 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet...". ( Isaiah 14:12-19).
Satan desired to "ascend into heaven and exalt His Throne above the stars of GOD."
Satan wanted to be worshipped. Satan wanted to be like GOD. This was spiritual rebellion. This was spiritual treason.This was evil of satan. This was wicked.
GOD cast satan out of heaven and satan fell like lightening. ( see Luke 10:18).
In Genesis 3:1-5, satan is on earth , working in the body of the serpent to do mischief and to cause confusion on earth.
What did satan do ?
Satan working through the serpent beast committed spiritual murder of the whole human race by deceiving Eve and making Adam disobey GOD thereby condemning the human race to sin, sickness , disease and death.
Genesis 3:17 - 24 we read,"... 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life...".
