Adam completed Eve and Eve completed Adam.
Adam needed a help meet and GOD put Adam to sleep and took a rib from the side of Adam.
Adam shed his blood for Eve. This reminds us about Mount Calvary where Yeshua Ha-Mashiach The Lord Jesus Christ shed His Blood for His Eve ( The Second Eve, The Called Out Ones, The Ecclesia, The Elect) .
Notice that GOD created human beings , He created male and female.
In Genesis 1:28 we read ;"... And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth...".
The man and his wife i.e. the first man [ Adam ] and the first woman [ Eve ] were given a commission, to be ".... fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth...".
GOD Ordained Marriage to be that Holy Covenant Union between one man [ e.g. Adam, ] and one woman [Eve].[ See also Genesis 2 :18-25 ].
GOD planted a Garden in Eden.
Eden was a place where GOD put Adam to sleep and open a wound in the side of Adam and Adam shed his blood for his Eve.
GOD took a rib from Adam and created Eve and then closed the wound in Adam's side and brought Eve to Adam.
This reminds us of The Blood Covenant of Yeshua Ha-Mashiach ( The Lord Jesus Christ) at Mount Calvary where Christ willingly gave up His Life for His Bride ( The Second Eve, The Elected ones, The True Believers, The Called Out Ones, The Ecclessia ).
In the Garden of Eden, GOD Ordained Marriage to be The Blessed Covenant Union between one man and one woman.
In Eden, there was no death.
In Eden , Adam and Eve had dominion over the animals and the insects and the fish etc.
Eden was a Holy Place.
Eden was a Place where Adam could have fellowship with GOD.
In Genesis 2:19 - 25 we read:
"... 19 And out of the ground The Lord GOD formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed...".
