Genesis 3:6- 14 Sin made Adam and Eve Run from the Presence of The Lord

The serpent was a warm blooded beast.

The serpent could reason. The serpent could talk. The serpent could walk.

The serpent beguiled Eve.

Remember that a woman is a fruit tree.

The Elizabeth told Mary the virgin.

"... Blessed is The Fruit of Thy Womb.". ( see Luke 1:42 ).

In Luke 1:42 we read :

"...  And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb...".

In Psalms 128:3 we read :

"... Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table...".

In Genesis  3:6-24 we read

"... And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat..".

Sin always separates man from GOD. Adam and Eve Transgressed The Law of GOD and died a spiritual death.

The Celestial Veil of Glory that clothed Adam and Eve before they transgressed The Law of GOD, no longer clothed them.

The serpent had deceived Eve. Things changed from good to bad. And things began to get worse.

Their rebellion brought about a change for the worst and not for the best.

In Genesis 3:7-8 we read :

"...And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

And they heard the voice of The Lord GOD walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from The Presence of The Lord GOD amongst the trees of the garden...".
Those who have sin in their lives always run from The Presence of The Lord. The Holy Presence of GOD always convicts sinners.
Notice it was not Adam who cried out for GOD for Adam hid from GOD. Adam hid himself from The Presence of The Lord.
In Genesis 3:9- 12  we read that The LORD GOD called out to Adam.
GOD knew where Adam was.
GOD wanted Adam to repent of his sin and confess his sin.
We must all repent of sin and we must all turn away from sin by confessing our sin.
GOD wanted Adam to see that he Adam had transgressed The Law of GOD and fallen from The Grace of GOD into a state of condemnation.
But what did Adam do ?
Instead of Adam taking responsibility for his action, Adam started looking for someone to blame and Adam blamed his wife Eve and in effect Adam was saying that i
that he had been better off without Eve.
What had happened to Adam ?
Adam had fallen from Grace.
Adam had fallen from walking by faith and he now relied on his five carnal senses.
In Genesis 3:9-12 we read :
And The Lord GOD  called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat...".
GOD is Righteous. GOD is fair. GOD gives everyone a fair trial. He is The Righteous Holy Judge.
Every guilty person is given an opportunity to justify their actions.
Adam failed to Justify his actions. Adam had no excuse for his deliberate act of disobedience.
Then Eve was questioned by GOD.
In Genesis 3:13 -
".. 13 And The Lord GOD  said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat....".
We see that Eve also refused to take responsibility for her actions. We see by the actions of Adam and Eve that human nature always seeks worldly pleasure and when judgement strikes, human nature always looks for some one to blame.
Adam blamed Eve for his disobedience.
Eve blamed the serpent for her deception.
Remember the serpent was a beast. The serpent was a warm blooded beast
In Genesis 3:14 we see GOD turn to the serpent.
In Genesis 3:14 we read :
"...14 And  The Lord GOD said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel...".
Look what GOD said to the serpent.
GOD pronounced judgement on the serpent.
The serpent did some act that he should not have done.
The serpent transgressed The Law of GOD.
The serpent was told that because of of what he the serpent had done, he as the serpent "...would be cursed above all cattle , and above every beast of the field ; upon thy belly shalt thou go up, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life :" ( See Genesis 3:14).
Notice the serpent was condemned to move on its belly.
The serpent would no longer walk upright.
the serpent would no longer have the ability to speak.
The serpent was changed from a beast ( a warm blooded beast ) to a reptile ( a cold blooded beast).
